In partnership with a number of adult learning providers, Wentworth offers a wide range of learning opportunities for parents of children under 5 and other local adults.

We recognise that dads, mums and carers want the best for their children. We know that bringing up a young family can be positive and rewarding experience, however we also know that it can be stressful and demanding. Staff are always happy to discuss ways to manage challenging behaviour and other concerns you may have. Don’t be shy to approach them.

In partnership with ‘HENRY – healthy families right from the start’, Wentworth offers a range of parenting support, such as an eight week parenting course, giving parents the tools and skills they need for a healthy family lifestyle, focusing on parenting skills, how and what we eat, being active and emotional wellbeing. ‘HENRY’ also offer shorter, one off sessions on topics such as first foods and fussy eating.

We welcome volunteers and recognise the value they bring to the centre.

Appointments with Citizen Advice are available every Tuesday morning at Daubeney Children & Family Hub.  These appointments are for Hackney parents/carers of children under 5, in need of advice or help with tax credits, benefits, housing, debt, and more. Phone 020 8525 7040 to book...
