Gentle skin contact has shown to make babies feel safe and secure, and is a simple way of showing affection. Massage has been found to help with bonding and interaction between baby and parent. It also stimulates and can help develop baby’s blood circulation, digestion and immune system.

Massage may help relieve colic and constipation, a common problem with babies and even joint pain in older children. Massage can be particularly soothing during times of stress, for your baby and you.
The massage technique taught at Wentworth is used by Peter Walker’s International School of Developmental Baby Massage. We welcome parents and babies from 10 weeks to pre-crawling. We provide a safe and secure place to practice, mats, instructions by a qualified instructor, certificate of attendance. Each session lasts an hour.
