We know that bringing up a young family can be positive and rewarding experience, however we also know that it can be stressful and demanding. Staff are always happy to discuss ways to manage challenging behaviour and other concerns you may have. Don’t be shy to approach them.

Staff are always happy to discuss ways to manage challenging behaviour and other concerns you may have. Don’t be shy to approach them.
If you feel you and your family will benefit from support then ask the staff to refer you to one of our family support services.
The Family Support practitioners can offer practical and emotional support dealing with:
- Reducing isolation and improving confidence
- Managing children’s behaviour
- Helping children through challenging life stages
- Managing on a budget
- Dealing with financial difficulties
- Coping with bereavement and loss
- Low moods and depression
- Stressful times
The Family Support practitioners do this by:
- Meeting with you to discuss what you need and to make a plan.
- Working together with other local services and professionals to get you the help and support you need.
- Respecting your confidentiality.
- Providing an interpreter when needed.
